A 35-Year Love Story with Mr. B, James Avery Craftsman, and Me

Pamela Lutrell's husband wedding ring

This is a sponsored post for James Avery Craftsman, and it celebrates Valentine’s Day, my 35-year love story with my husband, and the role James Avery Craftsman products have played in our romance.  In the picture above, you are looking at the first gift I ever gave Mr. B from James Avery…his wedding ring.  We loved the brand the minute we discovered this incredible jewelry created by an artist in the Texas Hill Country who offered products to celebrate our love and our faith The first decoration we purchased for our new home together was this James Avery Cross which still hangs in our home today.  This is a piece I cherish and hope my children will hand down through the family always to hang on a family member’s wall.

Over 50 Feeling 40 for James Avery

Since we began our love story with a deep love and appreciate for the James Avery brand,  we have gifted pieces to one another throughout the 35 years we have been together.  He wears his ring daily and carries his leather wallet daily which I selected for a past Christmas present.  Mr. B appreciates quality with materials and talent.  The leather products are beautiful and always well made.  Our James Avery gifts have been given to one another on many special days and occasions and we are so proud to own and wear them.  My excitement always rises when I see the James Avery gift bag handed to me…what will be inside?

I have many favorites between the necklaces, charms, and bracelets he has given me.  Last Christmas he gifted my amazing Avery black leather tote bag which I have carried to work every day for over a year and it still looks new.  It is an incredible bag…chic and beautiful…and holds all I need for my long work hours away.  These pieces are a representation of our love for one another which has withstood time and just gets better with age much like the products James Avery Craftsman creates.

So, if he were to ask…what gifts would I want for Valentine’s Day?  Well, maybe he will read this…who knows?  I am really enjoying building my bracelet collection of beautiful, silver James Avery bracelets.  I love to wear many at the same time….including my charm bracelet.  I need to drop it by my local James Avery store and have new charms added to it and, yes, Mr. B did give me several of these charms.  The bracelets I am wearing below include:

Feather Cuff Bracelet

Beaded Cuff Bracelet

I love having a jeweler who represents our love story and has gone through the years with us.  Our family journey also included our daughter’s jewelry purchased for her over the last thirty years, and soon our grand daughter’s love story will begin from her Gigi and Pappa Joe.  When we come upon special gift giving days like Valentine’s Day, we think of James Avery Craftsman…actually a member of our family.  Check out James Avery for Valentine’s Day today.

Keep Smiling!

  1. I just had James Avery clean and repair some pieces that I have accumulated as far back as 1985. Their pieces are classic and stand the test of time. I wish I had the names and dates of all my purchases and gifts! I usually get a couple every year.

  2. My James Avery wedding ring is treasured. My husband died but it is a reminder of our time together.
I will check out the bags. Thank you.
