It is holiday crunch time and Blair is ready to help all of us get through it in style.  I do not know about you, but my calendar is filling up and I am already overwhelmed.  Family is coming for Thanksgiving and for Christmas, plus parties are on the schedule…then there is shopping…then there is decorating…then there is cooking!! What there isn’t… is time for me, so I need to be prepared for this time of year in advance. I have told you often that when I am out and about running errands, I want to be comfortable and also look nice.  I often run into people I know, so though it is crunch time, the best uniform I can have in this game right now comes from Blair’s selections of cozy, coordinated separates.  These pieces are warm, and easy to layer. Over 50 Feeling 40 in fall fashions by Blair I can wear them to the mall to shop or to a Christmas tree lot to pick out a fresh Fir, or to fall into a chair at the end of the day and relax by the fire.  No matter what is on the holiday schedule these separates work and feel great.  I have heard from several ladies that they are decorating early this year for Christmas because Thanksgiving comes later in the month. So much to think about. If you add pieces to your wardrobe now, then you are not thinking about what to wear during such a busy time of year.  I know many of you live in colder climates and these separates are designed for warmth and comfort. Over 50 Feeling 40 in Fall Layers By Blair Today, I am showing you more ways to layer with the Flannel Tunics, and Essential Stretch Tank (remember all of those color options!). But, I have added the ivory Shaker Cardigan Sweater, which is super warm and comfy.  There are seven beautiful colors in this garment…the only problem with that is it is difficult to decide which colors to select!  You will love the Knit Corduroy Pants I am wearing.  As I keep repeating, super comfy, soft and lovely.  These come in eight colors.  I am wearing the new Wine color. Remember, all of these garments are washable and very simple, easy care required.  The beautiful “very berry” Scandia Fleece Jacket is a favorite so far.  I love the vibrant color and the zip front and high collar detail.  It is available in nine solid colors, and three prints.  For extra warmth, I am wearing the Scandia Fleece Vest which you can zip up or leave open. Over 50 Feeling 40 Wearing Fleece Jackets from Blair Finally, I just had to mention again the stretch knit leggings, the flat waist jeans, and the Quilted Car Coat.  All favorites with me. Check out Blair’s options  for holiday ease.  We can wear Blair well through it all!

KEEP SMILING!

  1. All of these looks would work where I live, it’s cold for so many months! I’m wondering if you have any tips for keeping the edges of the sleeves clean on the white jacket. I have a white jacket and that’s a real trouble spot. Just washing and pre-treating apparently isn’t enough. Do you have special products you use? I really do enjoy your videos!

  2. When my sons played high school football, I learned to pre-treat every stain…seriously ground in dirt…with OxyClean. It has never let me down!!

  3. Hope you don’t mind me adding a tip Pamela, but as I do have an off-white (winter white) wool jacket; I found giving it a light spray of ‘upholstery protector’ on the cuffs and also on the areas where a purse strap rests, helped immensely in keeping it stain free -Brenda-
P.S.: As in using any product; always test first in an inconspicuous place.

  4. Such pretty colors and so practical too. Love the quilted car coat as well. Also beautiful tribute acknowledgement to those who serve our country, Pam. ‘ Lest we forget. -Brenda-
