How to Style Jewel-Toned Blue Pants: Look #3

This is the final look this week with the jewel-toned blue pants.  I guess you can see how much I like them…what a great color, EILEEN FISHER, keep them coming.   I was one of the ones who rejoiced when the rules about wearing white went out the window.  It has surprised me to hear young girls talk as if the rules were still in place and I am happy to tell them, nope, wear white whenever you like!  I think these pants look lovely with white and I am wearing them here with a white cardigan I purchased at a previous Talbot’s Red Hangar Sale.

Since I wear a lot of darker neutrals, it is nice at times to lighten up my style with something like this.  I think this type of outfit has a softer touch to it.

This old Chico’s necklace just seemed to be the perfect pair to this whole outfit…so glad I have been willing to save most of my jewelry.  I love to go through it occasionally and bring back some of the pieces I have not worn for awhile.  I also like the pants with my white suit coat for work.  Let me know if you have liked the two weeks I have done a theme of three outfits with similar or same pieces. It’s a little challenging, but I am open to anything you say helps out with ideas.

So, let’s all confess…wearing white all year long…are you in or out??  it was a fun week, I hope you enjoyed it! Now, if you have been wanting a pair of leopard pants the Chicos pants below are only $19!! And yesterday, were still available in a variety of sizes.  The second pair of Chicos travelers pants are also on sale at an amazing price and come in many colors….including teal blue!  Check out the slideshow!.

HAPPY WEEKEND! KEEP SMILING!

  1. Absolutely, positively one of my favorite outfits you’ve styled! Those colors look awesome on you! I wear white pants through October – start back in April! My own little rule *wink*!!

  2. This is my favorite with the teal pants! And what a great necklace! Yes, it has been helpful to see the different ways you style the same piece. And yes to white in the winter! Winter white is a good way to start when the Labor Day rule just won’t budge!

  3. Maybe you could talk about how you store your jewelry on one of the posts. I really struggle with having necklaces available so I see them, but not having a mess. Thanks

  4. This was one of my favorite outfits that you have shown.Your posts on wearing one item several ways has been so helpful. I for one try to keep my wardrobe paired down so this type of post is really appreciated. Thank you!

  5. I really like these pieces together.
I’ve loved this series on restyling with the same/similar pieces – keep doing it! I have downsized, so I don’t have room for lots of different clothes. So I’m always trying to figure out how to mix & restyle the same pieces.
Love all your suggestions & wisdom!

  6. You have the best necklaces, Pam. I still remember the faux coral one from Chico’s, and wonder if we’ll see it again, now that this year is the year of coral.

  7. I am really liking this series, as I too am trying to downsize my wardrobe and simplify. It gives me ideas of how to re-mix and use what I have. thanks

  8. I really like this look. I have enjoyed your series on styling looks in different ways. I wear white shirts & sweaters all year long. White pants are a different story. Living in the Midwest, my wardrobe depends on the weather. On a warm sunny day in March or October, I might wear white pants but definitely would not wear them in the snow, slush & other winter weather.

  9. I got a clear plastic pocket bag ,that hangs from a built in hanger, and keep my necklaces in plastic bags in the pockets grouped by color or type. There is a larger pocket one designed for shoes if you want larger pockets.

  10. I am going to clean out soon and I will see if I can find a better system than I have now. Thanks for the motivation Dee!

  11. I love them and find them in so many places. I need to look through them and see if I still have that coral one…I remember it being very heavy! Thanks Binky!

  12. Thanks Becky…I don’t really wear white pants in the winter either…and I don’t have to worry about snow!

  13. Pam, I could not find the pants on the EF website. I only found the crepe pants in midnight. What are they called?

  14. Hi Judy, Did not mean to bring frustration…I really thought these we more available, but obviously have been super popular. Maybe the color will be re-introduced in the spring collection. For now, the only place I could find them this morning was this online retailer. I do not know anything about the retailer, but you might check the link out and see what you think. I will keep a close watch to see if they come back soon.
