Jackets & Jeans with Soft Surroundings

Focusing on outfits with jackets and jeans this week has made me want to wear it every day! One of my favorite brands to pair with denim is Soft Surroundings…I think because I love the Metro Denim Leggings so much and wear them often.  Soft Surroundings has stand out jackets.  I am always proud to be seen in one and feel so confident when I style their pieces.  This jacket is no exception and though it is a little “fancier” it can easily be paired with denim and dressed up or down.  I love it with this new necklace for Soft Surroundings.

I always feel elegant and classy in their pieces… and in their home décor. Do not forget their home products make special gifts, and, gifts for your own home.  This year, I set up a Christmas reading corner for my grandchildren to look at the Christmas books I have collected over time.  Above the pillows is my favorite collection of pictures I have snapped of them in this vintage Soft Surroundings frame.  I love this and may just keep a reading corner up all year long.  Need to head to the used bookstore now.  I think I will take my Soft Surroundings faux fur throw and set on the nearby couch to read as well…..perfect end to a busy wee

Now, I mentioned my fabulous Soft Surroundings faux fur throw…I love it so much that I actually hide it from family members…shhhhh, keep my secret!  Right now, if you make a $125 purchase you can have the throw for $29…that is a great deal!  I have the throw, the jackets I am wearing here, the necklace and more in the slide show below.

Thanks for being here.  Anyone have fun plans for the weekend??…no matter what, I hope you will join in with Would You Wear It tomorrow and always……………………………………………………………………………………..

KEEP SMILING!!

  1. I have noticed that jacket in the Soft Surroundings catalog and am always drawn to it. It’s just beautiful. I like both jackets! Did you turn the collar up on the glen plaid jacket, or is it made that way? I like the different look of the collar! What a fantastic idea about the reading corner. Wish I had thought of this when the grandsons were younger. They love to look at photo albums even now as teenagers, so maybe I’ll do a little corner of my own for when they come to visit at Christmas! Such a wonderful idea! It’s going to be baking for me this weekend, starting when I get home tonight. Dough is thawing and I’m ready to go! Tomorrow is lunch with a good friend in a beautiful little shopping district all decked-out for Christmas! And football – always football! : )

  2. I did not turn up the collar, Karen. It is designed that way! And YES to baking, lunch with friends, and football!!

  3. Happy Friday, Pam! You look great as always. I love the reading corner idea, I think I may have to steal some rendition of that.

  4. Pam, I love that colorful jacket on you. However I did follow the link
and read reviews, they are not great for this jacket and also the beautiful similar turquoise one. Could you address that?
    Thanks,Dale

  5. In the first picture with the beautiful jacket are you wearing the Soft Surroundings Metro Denim Leggings? If so, what size? Do you know if they go on sale at any certain time during the year?

Enjoyed this posting and look forward to each of your postings.

  6. Hi Esther…I am wearing an XL. Make sure you sign up for their emails. Then you get notices of sales and coupons. Thanks for the encouragement

  7. Hi Dale…normally I would not comment on the garment reviews but I see there are only two. These two jackets run small so size up to get a good fit. I completely disagree with the one who said it looks cheap. It is lovely and quality…a true statement piece. I hope that helps

  8. I love the first jacket you show here, Pam! So versatile! I also love your reading corner idea. We’ll be at our daughter’s this Christmas, but I’m already looking forward to next year when the whole family will be at our place. A quiet reading corner would be a godsend with 13 of us (or more if God blesses us with another grandchild by then) crammed into our not so big house!
