Welcome to My Cold…and New Readers!

It is finally cold in South Texas, so I know some of you are really, really cold!  We are basically wimps down here….when it gets in the 30s we are whining big time.

Nevertheless, I love seasonal changes, so you get no whining from me.  I want to say a big Texas welcome to all of my new followers.  I so appreciate you making the decision to subscribe and follow along as we discuss lifestyle issues for women over 50.

If any of you would like a free PDF copy of my document, 8 Steps to Reinvented Style, then please email me at over50feeling40@gmail.com. I will send it right along and hope it brings inspiration and new direction for 2017!

You can see I love all of my coats and the minute cold wind breezes blow I pull them out.  These are my different wool coats…today I am in the burnt orange at work and that is why it is at the top!

I hope to spend time this weekend in my home enjoying my decorations and perhaps a fire!  What are your plans?

Thanks again to all who are new….and regulars!  Please let me know if there are any topics you would like to discuss!

Happy Weekend!

  1. You look gorgeous in all your coats. Well it has been -3ºC here in the UK, so a log fire, hot chocolate and cashmere socks are a necessity now for my weekend lockdown. Keep warm xx

  2. Those are all lovely coats, Pam! It's in the 20-30 range up here (I've converted C to F for you), which is very cold for west coast Canada (we are not all in igloos!). We've had a few inches of snow, for the first time in nearly 3 years, and you should see people panic!

I'll be hanging out, playing board games, and going out with friends, maybe a little Christmas shopping in there. Happy weekend!

  3. As a life-long So Texan I can identify with being a wimp when it gets cold and
overcast! Enjoyed your interview with Chico's and the lovely pics of you in Chico's kimono, poncho and necklaces!! Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend by the fire.

  4. Freezing in Ohio, but we're used to it! Staying in enjoying my Christmas trees, listening to quiet Christmas music and reading. Will also indulge in one or two of my 1940's Christmas movies. A welcome break from a rough week at work.
