Welcome to a fun collaboration with Jennifer of A Well Styled Life and Pam of over50feeling40. We desire for all of us… the fabulous women over 50 …to look and feel our best each and every day. After years of blogging for this audience, we have heard from so many of you about your discouragement and despondency when you look in the mirror every morning. But, we both know just how transformative style can be, and hope to encourage you right here each week. We want to see all of us empowered with strength, joy, and confidence
October may be my favorite month of the year...for the color, the cool breezes and, yes, the clothes!! It is our time to shine and step out in confidence...with a little panache on the side!
My style tip for October is...don't let cold, dreary weather brew in your closet. Step out in confidence with fun fall and winter garments. Be bold...think out of the box with a cape instead of a jacket!
Check out this cape...the beautiful FAUX FUR AND PLAID CAPE FROM PURPLE POPPY.
We all know this camel, black and red plaid is recognizable and just says fashion! And I want you to know the quality of the faux fur is beautiful. The price of this garment is incredible, because it looks much more expensive.
I am going to wear it this year with leather pants, boots, and my leather gloves.
It is lightweight acrylic, soft, and is really fun to wear. The way the clasp is placed and designed keeps this garment very flattering.
Just 10 years ago, I would have been shy to wear a garment like this in public...I would have wanted to, but not had the courage. BIG STYLE TIP: Be courageous...you will discover a new world of fun and confidence.
Yes, it will keep me warm and is much better than a jacket for cooler days. Capes are everywhere, so think of adding one to your wardrobe.
This fabulous cape is sold by Purple Poppy...go to FAUX FUR AND PLAID CAPE AT PURPLE POPPY!
They have quality, unique designs for women over 50...it is a fun site to shop! Now, let's hop over to JENNIFER OF A WELL STYLED LIFE and see what her tip is for the month!
