Hit Your Style Sweet Spot: Celebrating with Girlfriends Over 50

Welcome to a fun collaboration with Jennifer of A Well Styled Life and Pam of over50feeling40.  We desire for all of us… the fabulous women over 50 …to look and feel our best each and every day.  After years of blogging for this audience, we have heard from so many of you about your discouragement and despondency when you look in the mirror every morning.  But, we both know just how transformative style can be, and hope to encourage you right here each week.  We want to see all of us empowered with strength, joy, and confidence

Every now and then it's fun to meet with friends to catch up on families or celebrate a birthday...usually around nachos, guacamole, and maybe even a margarita or two!  When I dress to meet my girlfriends over 50, I want to look fun and stylish, but not seem like I tried too hard.
That is where fun garments, such as we find on ARTFUL HOME, are perfect for celebrations with girlfriends!  I love this FELTED WOOL VEST for times like this... I like to wear it open, but it is gorgeous closed and comes in vibrant colors... go HERE to see just how beautiful it is.
The designer is TERESA MARIA WIDUCH and her designs are incredible.  I would wear any of the jackets featured on ARTFUL HOME designed by this talented and unique woman.  This is why so many are going to Artful Home for investment wear...the designs are the highest quality and you will not see them any where else.  These American designers truly are unique.
In Texas this time of year, a vest is a perfect way to go .  The first cool fronts may bring a few breezes, but not enough for a coat.  Wearing a look like this, helps me feel confident when I go to see my friends.  We don't get together near as often as I would like.

Now, let's go see what JENNIFER OF A WELL STYLED LIFE is wearing to meet her friends in California!

  5. I absolutely love vests and I have a felted wool one that I adore!! This one has some great lines!!
One of the reasons I like mine so much is you can put brooches on it without hurting the material...and it's stiff enough to hold them!!

  6. A vest is a great choice for when you need a little extra against the chill, outdoors or indoors. The one you're wearing is a knockout with its subtle and not so subtle details. I like the matchup of bright blue and leopard as well.

  7. I don't know which I adore more – – the vest or the fact it is finally cooling down and up here in Texas to need/be able to wear the best. You look fantastic as always.

  8. I've never worn vests... Not sure why. Perhaps I need to take another look at them. Thanks. Brenda

  9. I love that blue! That immediately caught my eye from all the other images. That is a perfect look for going out with the girls. And know what? I wore that blue tone and black together just this weekend.
