Eileen Fisher Spring 2016...First Texas Event...EVER!

I keep telling you San Antonio is special...and we truly must be to have landed the first Texas fashion event ever for EILEEN FISHER.  DILLARD'S AT NORTH STAR MALL was the host in celebration of all things spring, and of our fabulous store located in an historical mall....home of the largest cowboy boots in Texas!  This is one of my favorite places to shop and I love the ladies assisting in the Eileen Fisher department. You go girls!

Not sure why this model is frowning...she is wearing one of my favorite looks from the show.  All were lovely and perfect fashion for the over 50 woman!  We were guided through the power of neutrals...with just a pop of cool beautiful spring color...by Eileen Fisher Regional Merchandiser, Roy Fiedler, and a very pregnant hostess from SAN ANTONIO LIVING ON WOAI ....wearing a lovely EF light blue ensemble.

Their smiles are more representative of the joy from this entire show.
Including loud applause when Roy gave an update on EF's VISION 20/20 GOALS to be completely sustainable by the year 2020.  The great news is they are now 90% there! A beautiful woman, Joan, sat next to me and the mission of EF is predominately why she wears the clothes...along with the fit and styles which compliment her own lifestyle.

We dined on delicious salad, petite desserts, and iced tea plus walked away with a wonderful goody-bag from Dillard's beauty departments...including the latest CHANEL fragrance.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorite looks in the show and come back tomorrow for what ladies in the audience wore...including me!

This last look was my favorite...I want the whole thing and perhaps the pants in two colors... and the lovely HIGH COLLARED JACKET...I will have to dream of it for now!

Great job EILEEN FISHER and DILLARD'S.  Of course, most of these garments may be found online HERE

See you tomorrow with a little more from this event!

Happy Friday...Don't forget time change this weekend!

  1. I don't get that model frowning either. It must be her Zoolander look. I love Eileen Fisher, and that white outfit really is one of the prettiest ones. Fun show. Thank you for sharing!

  2. It looks like great fun to attent such an event. Beautiful items. I love the denim dress.

  3. Lots of great outfits here! I'll have to check them out the next time I'm at Dillards. What a fun event!

  4. I love the pale blue and cream ensemble - I could snap that up! I'm a big fan of cream and beige but I look awful in them - I really need that extra bit of colour - so the blue works for me :)

  5. Fabulous! Thanks for sharing this, Pam. I'm a big EF fan, both for the clothes and the high commitment to sustainability. Can't wait for some of these styles to hit the racks!

  6. What a fun post, and uplifting! Except for the heels, I would wear it all. Have to laugh about the frowner. Lastly, I love SA. My high school best friend (we met 45 years ago!!!!) lives there with her family, and I visit every chance I get.

  7. I think the frowning model is trying to emulate all the runway models who never smile when modeling clothing. They all look hard and angry. The other models appear to be ordinary women who are happy to do this for the event.

  8. I love that last outfit too, although I nearly choked on my tea when I saw the price! It's always fun to dream!

  9. So many pieces here I'd love to wear right now! Thanks for covering this show for us over-40's. xox

  10. There's nothing like seeing fashion with your own eyes as they come down the runway. I love so many of these looks and so many of them look like anyone could wear them well.

  11. Great pieces! You would look fabulous in that last outfit! Sounds like a great event to attend!

  12. Looks like so much fun! I love EF but it is a little pricey for me. :(

Can't wait to see what you and the other attendees were wearing!

Thanks so much for joining in our conversation today! I appreciate your time and love hearing from you!
