Goodwill SA: Holidays for Any Budget

I can remember many Christmases, when my children were young, I had no idea how we could afford to do anything.   But, in a community where the local GOODWILL is heavily supported, there are always ways to make "special" happen.

Knowing this first hand, I visited the location on Hwy. 281N at Bitters Road to see what I could find to celebrate "the most wonderful time of the year."
First, I found several artificial trees complete with lights.

I actually have a collection of Christmas mugs from years of collecting through GOODWILL SA.   They are so much fun to pull out when a group stops by for hot chocolate or wassail.

Put smiles on the faces of children or grandchildren with decorations from Goodwill.

Joy... just sums it up when suddenly it is possible to decorate your home for next to nothing.

Also, Goodwill can help your family dress for those special holiday parties.  It just takes a little time to go on a treasure hunt.

Christmas sweaters and Christmas ties...I saw them all!

Of course, I found a little something for me....this beautiful Chico's Travelers tank...I came right home and washed it.
If you are feeling down about little money this year, just stop by GOODWILL SA for encouragement and treasures.  They can help to make the season merry.  Also, you will be giving back to the community, since GOODWILL SA supports us with job training and assistance for veterans.  I have been pleased to represent Goodwill for one more year as a BLOGGER ON THEIR TEAM.  It is an honor to say...Happy 70th Birthday, Goodwill SA...thanks for all you do!

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. I've said it before, your Goodwill is amazing. Also set up in a nice way. This has to be encouraging to shoppers. Helps to have the support of the community. I would be there often looking for treasures, like that gorgeous tank you found!

  2. Oh my gosh! I love the shoes (though I could never wear them) and the tank. Good choice, Pam!
The star on the top of our tree is my latest acquisition from our local thrift store.
