Saks Fifth Avenue & DVF Style An Evening of Hope

This is what it was really about.  This precious breast cancer patient and all those women she represents being honored at the 2015 Key to the Cure Launch: The DVF Runway Show and 2015 KTTC Awards given to leaders in our local medical community and sponsored by SAKS FIFTH AVENUE.
The evening hosts included Dennis Trammell, Vice President and General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue in San Antonio, and a team from the Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) and the UT Health Science Center.
It was about hope and joy and encouragement for all of us who have been touched by cancer either personally, through friends, or family.
Of course, the smiles grew as we were treated with a beautiful runway show by the successful DIANE VON FURSTENBERG.  From wrap dresses to jumpsuits, the collection was bright and joyful.

I also loved the looks off the runway worn by our fabulous San Antonio ladies.

Remember it is hot here...so you are seeing outfits made to handle over 90 degrees.

Customers dined, shopped and visited...but ultimately it was all about the patients, the purpose, and the heart.

Thanks to Saks and DVF for a very special night.
Tomorrow, I will tell you why this was a special evening for me!

Happy Friday!  Enjoy!
