Rainy Days and Mondays...Really Aren't So Bad!

 MARSHALLS

Hope everyone enjoyed a fun Father’s Day!  We continue to have rain, and hopefully, will not suffer any more flooding tragedies in our area this summer.  However, it is nice to see green grass, full lakes, and clouds in the sky again.  Many Texans thought the drought would never end.

This is what I wore out to a Father’s Day dinner on Saturday.  The blouse is by Rose & Olive, a line often found at Nordstrom and Stein Mart.  I found this flowy, black and white tunic recently at MARSHALLS

I know I am in black again…I really try to stay away sometimes, but it is me and what I love and bend toward.  I am wearing more white pants and colors this summer than I have in a long time.  So, though I may not always feature them, the colors are there.

What are your favorite colors for the start of summer 2015?  Please share and I truly hope you have a wonderful week!

  1. You look very chic Pam, and the clutch is a great find! I'm so glad you're getting, rain, still dry as a bone here in Southern California... :-(

  2. I can understand very well, that the current rain is so important for your nature in Texas, Pam! It is very green over here as our climate is so different and I can't wait for higher temperatures and real summer weather coming back later this week.

Love your classy look! I will never give up black although I am currently wearing a lot of white - the only time of the year I can really do so, even all-white looks.

  3. I find I don't wear much black in the summer. I wear white a lot and for color find that i'm wearing a lot of aqua, cobalt and shades of orange. Flowy tops have been my go-to summer weekend style.

  5. Our summers are usually pretty casual so lots of greens and pinks and of course, my favorite blue. I haven't had an occasion to dress up lately. We spend most of our time at the lake in summertime so it's shorts t-shirts and bathing suits!

  8. I love the look on you. That pop of color in the clutch is perfect!! I'm wearing more white and have added a teeny bit more blues. But honestly, most of my wardrobe is black. Happy Monday!

  10. I tend toward black and darker colours as well. Been trying to branch out into blues and greens. It's a slow process!

  11. I love black and I will always wear it. This summer I'm all about linen, so not very much black - but black is always good. You look terrific!
