NARS Cosmetics: Makeup for Tilda and the Rest of Us!

For all practical purposes, winter is over and it’s time for many of us to add a little color to our faces!  This past week at our North Star Mall location of SAKS FIFTH AVE., the San Antonio Fashion Society (SAFS) was invited to a Spring Event.  There I met NARS for the first time.

The NARS commitment to women 40+ was communicated by their selection to use, as a brand representative, actress Tilda Swinton (54).

I am the oldest in the SAFS, but after the beauty technicians explained why NARS is great for my age group, I also listened in as they talked to these other beautiful ladies.

NARS is formulated with hydration and rich moisture in mind…helping us all soften those pesky wrinkles.  It is very light weight; but, will last all day long if needed. And, is designed to capture the light for a youthful glow. In fact, the foundations are called ALL DAY LUMINOUS WEIGHTLESS FOUNDATION.

Their spring line is now in store.  It includes the HIGHLIGHTING BLUSH and NARSISSIST DUAL-INTENSITY EYESHADOW PALETTE…I love the plum color in this palette and all of the shadows may be used wet or dry.

In San Antonio, SAKS is so pleased to have local favorite beauty specialist, Eloy Rodriquez join them working at the NARS counter. Customers may contact Eloy at eloy_rodriguez@s5a.com.

I know it is hard to see behind the glasses, but I loved the smokey eye look I was given starring the plum color from the new palette.

Tomorrow morning I will share with you some of the fun styles I found around the store.  Always great for inspiration with our own looks, or to send us shopping at Saks.  I have so much to share with you next week and really appreciate you stopping by!

Have a fun Saturday!

  1. Thank you Pam! I've been hearing so much about NARS lately, I'm excite to try it myself. The emphasis on moisturizing seems to make it a good fit for 'us ladies of a certain age'! I'll keep you posted when I do my post on the brand.
    Warmly,
