Surrounded by Women of Strength Because I MATTER....Plus the Thursday Blog Hop!

Isn’t “hope” the most wonderful word?  There is no situation where we cannot have hope of improvement…of a better life.  I meet women daily who are strong and have persevered through trials with determination and diligence.  Women who believe their lives are just as important at 50 as they were at 30!
The two bloggers I spent last Friday with in LA, were such women.  Strong women leading vibrant and meaningful lives after midlife.  Alexandra and her twin sister have a blog for Baby Boomer women, FUN AND FIT about the benefits of staying fit.  She is one busy lady…teaching at a University, mom, wife, speaker, blogger, and writer.  I was impressed with Alexandra because she lives what she writes…I watched her eat healthy and show us some cool yoga moves!  Add all this to a quirky sense of humor, and you have one over 50 woman enjoying each day of her life.

Antoinette of De Divah Deals rises early every morning to drive over an hour to her job…return late evening…cook for her family…and stay up until the wee hours of the morning working on her blog.  She proves to us, hard work pays off.  Antoinette has persevered through many difficulties in her life, and is a true example of living hope.  She literally is always on the job…always thinking of ways to improve her product.  She made me want to get home and work even harder.
If you are in need of hope later in your life, surround yourself with strong women.  Seek them out.  And look for the silver linings in each life.  We can receive inspiration from others and learn so much from those around us.  When we do this, we are saying MATTER!

One member of our LA production crew said the three bloggers needed a reality show because we played off of each other so well.  The reality is…we laughed and enjoyed the moment.  I hope you will do the same today!
(Oh yes, the teaser picture from Monday…really was just a teaser, but we truly did say some crazy things... when you get a blogger from CA, a blogger from the Northeast, and a Texan together…it can get a little dicey!)  Love you both!  I know that inwardly you carry the I MATTER sign!

Now, please go get inspiration from the bloggers of Katie’s Favorite Things Blog Hop…and hop on yourself!
Have a joyful
Thursday!
