Ankle boots, Cashmere, and 50,000 Tacos!

Hi everyone…hope you are all well… despite the cold, wet weather in some areas of the country!  This week is when San Antonio hosts the largest free breakfast in the world.  Friday will be the 37th Annual Cowboy Breakfast which officially kicks off rodeo season.

If I were to gather with the 50,000 cowboys and cowgirls seeking hot, strong coffee and free tacos, I would probably wear this beautiful chocolate brown, CATHERINE ROBINSON CASHMERE CAPE, my INC jeans from Macys, and these amazing ANKLE BOOTIES!

Aren’t they gorgeous?  I swooned when I opened the box from ANTELOPE SHOES and know I will wear these often.
Check out their shoes and boots HERE AT ANTELOPE SHOES!

There is nothing like luxurious cashmere, gorgeous leather, and tacos, tacos, tacos for a traditional winter event.

The pictures below are from our local newspaper, The San Antonio Express News, from last year’s Cowboy Breakfast.

  1. That sounds like so much fun! I've never been to one before, would be great to experience it. The boots look so well made and in great quality, I also adore the cape!

  2. I have always struggled with brown, unable to get the right shade for my coloring. You have pulled it off to perfection with this shade of brown. Very rich color. I have dark hair also and will have to search for this brown! Karen

  3. Pam…you look absolutely stunning, chocolate brown is definitely your colour and the boots are fabulous! Thank you so much for mentioning me, I so appreciate it…you are a STAR!

  4. I've never been a lipstick gal at all, although all makeup counters have told me start! It just becomes that one last, final step that I somehow forget to do. But I definitely agree, it can change the entire look from makeup to skin to hair. So, thank you, I will try to remember to put some on before I leave the house!

  5. Aw yes, my memory of a week long stay on the San Antonio Riverwalk is punctuated with thoughts of the amazing Southwestern cuisine, and the fine southern gentlemen 😉
I'm swooning for your boots too! WOW!!

  6. Hey, great post! I found you on the Style Elixir LinkUp.

I love your outfit. I'm hosting a linkup over on my blog. Its based in the UK and I wondered if you wanted to come and share your post. I'd love to have you on the linkup (runs every Monday), maybe you'll find some new UK readers also. 🙂 http://www.atouchoftartan.co.uk/

  7. Love those boots, that cape (so gorgeous!), and also the Bobbi Brown lipstick you are wearing in the previous post. Just wanted to swing by and say good luck for your daughter and the new baby. My daughter's birthday is today and she got her birthday wish–snow! I think she got more than she bargained for, we are waiting for our blizzard but I'm sure she thinks the day off from school tomorrow is like a birthday present. Yay for January birthdays! XO, Jill

  8. Love your casual chic outfit Pam! Oooooh so jealous…I loooove tacos. Please next time save one for me 🙂 xo from Frankfurt, Germany. Sabina | Oceanblue Style
