JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa: For Local or Getaway Family Holiday Fun

Isn’t this the cutest couple?  Has to be my favorite Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus ever, and I found them at the JW MARRIOTT HILL COUNTRY RESORT AND SPA.  I gave the picture a vintage feel because they look like transits right out of Miracle on 34th Street!

Not only is this a top notch hotel with golf course and spa, but the JW Marriott is locally a great place to take the kids for some holiday fun. I was there for the official lighting of the Christmas season…full of good tidings and seasonal fun for all.

There was dancing with Christmas elves, visiting with Santa, and whether you are in San Antonio desiring a getaway or tourists, here is some of the seasonal treats on the calendar for families of hotel guests:

Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus;
Elf Tuck-in with a treat;
Gingerbread Craft Workshop; Holiday Stuff-n-Fluff Animals; JW Sounds of the Season; Kids Night Out at the Ranger Riders Kid’s Club; Become an honorary Elf; Ornament Decorating; Holiday S’mores (look for me!); Story Time with the Elves; and photos with the Clauses. All available until December 24. Find more information and great rates HERE.

Of course, my husband and sons want to see just one playoff game on this amazing screen in the HIGH VELOSITY SPORTS BAR.

I have enjoyed the LANTANA SPA more than once…sounds heavenly for a gift this year!  They are also running a Black Friday special with all of the items sold in the spa boutique.

I also saw several fireplaces which would make for cozy hot drinks while you watch the kids have fun! I will be looking for those s’mores!

Sounds like such a great way to celebrate the season and continue the fun we had the other night.

It is not a dream, San Antonio…the best Santa is within our midst!
Have a wonderful Wednesday and for all of my American readers, a joyous Thanksgiving!
