Jenny Craig: Setting Holiday Goals

It’s that wonderful time of year…the evenings at home are warm and toasty, and most often associated with warm, toasty, comfort foods.

Even if it is not a holiday meal, winter just brings out the cooking-fever in many of us with stews, soups, and warm entrees on the menu…a way we show love to our families.

So, JENNY CRAIG has asked me to set goals to keep losing and not gaining.

The temptations get bigger and bigger as we move closer to all of the  holiday celebrations.  So, I now have a goal chart to fill out each week and chart my progress!

I am realistic.  I know this will not be easy,…but I really hope to show that it can be done.  Last night, I came home chilled to the bone, and reached for a bowl of JENNY’S CHICKEN AND CORN CHOWDER  It was delicious and exactly what I needed!  This is completely up to me…all I have to do is avoid all of the temptations and stick to THE JENNY CRAIG MEAL PLAN!

I continue to do this my way…SLOWLY.  But at least there is a little progress each week.  I hope to keep it going….even through the holidays!  If anyone wants to sign up for the holiday plan, Jenny offers a weight loss guarantee. Just visit http://www.jennycraig.com for details!

Have a warm, toasty Friday!!

*I was provided a free trial program, and free Jenny’s Cuisine® items. Currently, I purchase their food at a special rate.   However, the opinions and writing are entirely my own.
Members following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs per week

  1. Oh my, did you nail it with the comfort food Pam! I am also trying to stay in line during this tempting time of year. Like you, I have found that soup is still on the menu, even comforting soups, you just have to be selective. But they are sure out there! I still make the huge pot of the old stand-by, the Weight Watchers vegetable soup, that you can indulge in with no remorse! Your goal sheet sounds like a very good idea and I think I'll steal that one and do it today! Karen

  2. What's worked for me in the past is planning, and it sounds like you're doing just that. Keeping track of events that come up, and deciding what "treats" will provide the most connection and satisfaction and work those in.
