Jenny Craig: A Community of Success

I know the picture is a little fuzzy, but I had to introduce you to this beautiful woman I met briefly during San Antonio Fashion Week.

We were waiting for the doors to open for the runway show and discussing my blog.  I happened to mention my association with JENNY CRAIG.

“Oh, I love Jenny Craig,” she quickly said.  ‘The food is so good and I lost fifteen pounds!”

We had an immediate connection through Jenny, and I looked at her and thought…I want to look like that!

The other ladies in attendance with her asked if the food was really that good…both of us exclaimed…YES, it really is.

The last three weeks I have been inching closer and closer to a twenty pound loss, but I have not hit it yet.  So I really hope it will be next week!

We will see!  My favorite meal last week was the Chicken Fettuccine  It is really great with a few peas and broccoli on the side.

I am so glad Jenny Craig is a nutritional food plan!  Here is an interesting feature from Grandparents.com about TOP NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCIES FOR PEOPLE OVER 50.

I really feel like I have it covered for now!

Please make sure you register to win the FOXCROFT sweater…look in the side bar!

Tomorrow I will bring you some San Antonio Street Style from fashion week.

Have a fabulous Friday, all!
*I was provided a free trial program, and free Jenny’s Cuisine® items. Currently, I purchase their food at a special rate.   However, the opinions and writing are entirely my own.
Members following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs per week

  1. I think you commented on this in the past, but does there come a time when you 'maintain' without having to buy the food from JC? I sure get it how there is something to be said for the portion control they provide, but I wondered if there is a way to do this on your own? What do you do when you get in a snacky mood or when you just plain get hungry between meals? (My challenges come when I'm watching college football on the weekends!) Karen

  2. Thanks for the questions…I think it helps everyone processing the meal plan….you get three snacks a day and I really love the Jenny snacks…especially both of the popcorns and the chips! Since I am not on maintenance yet, so I cannot really say how it goes…but when I get there I will blog about it…Try something like SKINNY POP for your football games…you can find it at the grocery in the chip aisle!!
