Depression, Wardrobes, Fashion...how do they all relate?

Some women believe dressing stylish and fixing up each day can help us feel our best...some believe that alone piles on unnecessary pressure...some believe all of the fashion industry feeds on our fears...others believe there are some in fashion with good intentions to help....others rush to get the Fall Fashion magazine mega-issues...others would love to burn them in defiance as if burning a bra...

I discuss all of this on MIDLIFE BOULEVARD today...including the role your dress plays in escaping despondency!  Wow, that's a lot...join us in

Then, have a wonderful Tuesday!

  2. Wow. Sounds like a must read. Over the last few years, I've found "personal style", as opposed to "fashion", a good antidote for depression. Blogs like yours, and others that celebrate the diversity of true personal style have been lifelines. I'll check our your post. :-)

  5. Well said, Pam! I like the million dollar race horse analogy I heard once. If I owned one, would I leave it in it's stall, eating potato chips in front of a t.v. or would I exercise it, groom it and buy it a pretty saddle? Am I not more important to myself than a race horse?
