Jenny Craig: Patience and Persistence… Winner Announced!

July is my time to go to lunch, shop, enjoy daytime…activities I typically cannot do when I am in the classroom teaching.  This makes dieting a challenge right now…though I am being true to order salads no matter where I am.  I dined out four times last week.  However, the scales (at my JENNY CRAIG weigh in)  remained the same…no loss, no gains.  That would get a thumbs up for me….at least there are no gains.

My Jenny Craig CONSULTANT has asked that I stick to the diet this week, so we can attempt to take things down further.  I promised to be good…except for Monday…my birthday…I need a little celebration! But, it will require persistence…I have a couple of lunches and a barbecue on the calendar over the next five days.  We will see how I do!  Patience and persistence will lead to rewards…I am convinced.  I am going to try logging what I eat in order to track my moves and keep me on their eating plan.
I have photographed one of my favorite lunches…this one is the GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH…I really love the little sandwiches! Yum!
So, I remain ten pounds down and a happy camper!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

*I was provided a free trial program, and free Jenny’s Cuisine® items. Currently, I purchase their food at a special rate.   However, the opinions and writing are entirely my own.
Members following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs per week

WINNER ANNOUNCED!

Congratulations to Dori W…the winner of the awesome Lobster Pouf!! Enjoy!

  1. Congratulations on 10 lbs down Pam! It is definitely two thumbs up for no gain when you dine out so many times – that's great discipline on your part! Be proud of yourself and enjoy your birthday!!

  2. Pam, that's awesome. I did Jenny Craig for about 3 weeks. I lost 10 pounds, but I really had a difficult time with the packaged foods. My weight is up again, like a roller coaster and I'm trying to find a balance…there has got to be a way. 😉 Happy Birthday, My Love's birthday is on Monday too. Make a wish!!!

  3. That is awesome! It is definitely one of my goals next year to finally get the baby weight off, although I should stop referring to it as baby weight since my son is 5. Dining out and dieting can be such a struggle and you deserve to be proud! Happy Birthday!

  4. You look great Pam! Happy Birthday to you…you share the same birthday with my daughter. A very special day indeed. Enjoy! Warmly, Simone
