Jenny Craig: Gaining Success Inch by Inch

Happy weekend, everyone!  This afternoon was my one month meeting with my JENNY CRAIG counselor.  I was thrilled to learn that I have dropped 1 1/2 inches in my stomach area and 1/4 inch in my hips!!  Woo Hoo!

I also celebrated another victory last weekend as I traveled to the Woodlands.  We went to a wonderful restaurant for dinner on the Waterway.  I ordered a meal closest to what I believed was acceptable.  Then something huge happened....I only ate and wanted half of the chicken breast.  I was full and did not want to go forward.  This was big for me.  In the past, I always ate the entire meal...usually visiting and not even paying attention to if I was full or not.

But, once I was full, I was satisfied and did not desire another bite! Thank you JENNY CRAIG!

Have a great weekend everyone!

*I was provided a free trial program, and free Jenny’s Cuisine® items.  However, the opinions and writing are entirely my own.
Members following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs per week

  1. Hooray! I am glad it's going well for you Pamela. So happy for you. My meeting is today. After a stressful week, wish me luck on what the scale tells me. I don't know - I can't tell by the way my clothes are fitting...

  2. Happy Weekend to you too, Pam..Congratulations! xx

  3. That's a wonderful feeling! I've lost 45 lbs. over the past 20 months - and relearning those habits are hard -- sometimes you'll fall back too, but keep plugging...sometimes it's great to be on the "losing team".

  4. Congrats on your progress Pam, and have a great day. xo

  5. Good for you Pam! once you start eating in a nutritionally sound way, this is what happens. Dont think calories and numbers - think nutrition. Thumbs up

  6. It isn't at all unreasonable to assume that most restaurant meals are two servings.
One strategy is to ask for your to-go bag/box when they serve your order and remove it from your plate right then. That way you don't eat the full too-large portion out of habit as the meal ends.

Thanks so much for joining in our conversation today! I appreciate your time and love hearing from you!
