Living Above Circumstances….

As they say (not sure who “they” are), but as they say…life is so…DAILY!  No matter what we do…how we plan…how perfect we are…life constantly throws us curve balls.

At the end of a long day, it is so nice to pick up an inspirational book like Mary Buchan’s Over It! She is such an excellent writer and combines light hearted, personal stories with age old wisdom to shed rays of hope in our dark spots.

From the chapter on storms, ” First, storms can be scary, particularly when they come out of nowhere, when we least expect them. Without warning, blue skies and sunny days can be replaced by dark clouds and torrential rains. Second, storms have a way of showing us what’s really important…..”  The tornado is one of those personal stories.

You might want to add OVER IT to your reading list…with a cup of tea and a quite time, you might start forgetting life’s struggles for a time…at least put them in perspective!  Order from Amazon here!

  3. Those days can indeed seem endless at times. All the more reason to pay attention to the good moments between the storms, and even during.

Sounds like a wonderful recommendation, Pam.
