Goodwill: Where do I Start?

Whenever I enter my local GOODWILL locations, I always begin the same way...

First, I check Julia's Attic...the top fashion selections....
Second, I check my favorite clothing racks and accessories....
Third, I never leave without looking over home decor!

Recently, I stopped by with the desire to do some closet organizing and my eye immediately went to this cool box decorated in a Burberry-type design!  It now holds my bracelets and looks much nicer than the ugly plastic box where they previously lived.

There are many things in my home from Goodwill.  This post features some of my favorites!

Saturday is a great day to go by the  Goodwill locations all over the country and see what treasures you can uncover!  Remember, they return a lot to the local communities in education, vocation, and military support!

HAPPY SATURDAY ALL!!

  2. It amazes me what people find. And how great their finds look! I just don't have the eye for it. I look at a shelf full of stuff and see . . . stuff. You see possibilities. Sigh. I wish I could just follow you around for a day! In a totally non-creepy way . . .

  8. That bracelet box is such a cool find! I love to go to thrift shops. I think the key is taking the time to really look for the treasures.

  9. Lovely treasures my friend. We do not have a good will here. But I do visit a Multiple Sclerosis thrift store a few miles away when I get a chance. Thank you for sharing your sweet blog at the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop and for your sweet friendship and for being such a great co hostess. xo ♥

  12. Nice finds. I'm not patient enough to return often enough to find "treasures" --- that and the fact that we're downsizing, so I'm confining myself to purchases on bigger than refrigerator magnets from our travels.

  15. Your finds are amazing! Just gorgeous. I'll have to give my Goodwill store another try; it never occurred to me to seek items for my home decor. I've always just looked for clothing. Thanks for this tip!

  17. Awesome finds! I find the most unique things at thrift stores...drives my husband crazy, but the things you'll find there are typically higher quality than "stuff" available nowadays too.

  18. Love everything! I don't have as much luck when I go hunting for treasures, but then again, I may not go often enough. :)
