Makeup use to be so much fun…playing and dabbling in whatever the latest trend might be.  But, for many of us…those days really need to come to an end.
When we attempt to do our makeup as the younger crowd might do with all of its glittery, glitzy, bronzy glory…we actually end up looking older…go figure!  There is success is understanding what our look should be now!

  1. Great article over at The Joy Boutique, Pam! I stay away from bronzer too, it looks ridiculous on me now. I will still use a bit of shimmer, but very sparingly, and only under the browbone and at the top of the cheekbone. I liked a lot of the suggestions in "How To Look Expensive," I think the author is close in age to me (mid-40s) but my mother, who is in her mid-60s, says she wishes someone would write a book about makeup for ladies her age. I will check out the book you recommended to find out if my mother's wish has come true! Great post. XO, Jill
