OOTD Inspiration: Winter Brights
It’s been a cold winter for almost everyone with more on the horizon (or Canadian border at least!).
So, looking for some bright inspiration can add a “spring” in our step!
I saw this picture of Nicole Richie on another blog recently and it inspired me to take a bright summer garment and wear it in the winter.
I wore this jacket from CHICOS last summer with a tank underneath, however, Nicole’s style sent me to look for a collared shirt instead.
I like it and it really does brighten a winter day.
Even a dormant Texas cactus can use a bit of cheer.
Beauty can be uncovered …no matter the season!
Have a fabulous Monday, everyone!

Hi Pam!
This asian inspired jacket is simply wonderful!
Perfect outfit for a dormant cactus season!

I think that looks great. I like that you took a nice bright color and brightened these very gray, damp and not to mention cold days!!!
Have a beautiful week. Blessings dear. Catherine xo
Although we have had the mildest January according to the weather records so far, hardly any frost and now snow, I can't wait for spring to arrive.
Your gorgeous kimono shirt definitely is going towards that spring feeling, Pam!

You look great! MUCH better than the 1st picture!
Oooo! Your jacket is prettier! A ray of winter sunshine! Now, I think I'll copy this too! Why let the pretties sit in the back of the closet for months?! Loving that big drop necklace too. ~ Betty (SC)
Beautiful top Pam. Lovely colors that look good on you. Wow look at the weather where you live and that's a giant cactus!

You look gorgeous in that colorful kimono jacket, Pam!
I'm impressed with how you use fashion inspiration to create new outfits from your own closet! I love the kimono jacket, adds your own touch to it. Our January has been warmer than most of last summer!! We've had no rain, and already are having brush fires. I'm worried that we're headed for a serious drought.
I just spent 3 weeks in sunny Florida. I will be going through my closet tonight looking for something colorful for tomorrow's Philadelphia snow. Brrrr.
I am all for brightness.
You do look gorgeous with those colours.
Love and sunshine, dear Pam

You look absolutely DARLING in your winter bright. Now, of course, I want to find something bright to wear, too.
I live on the plains of West Tx and our temps today…73. AWESOME !!
Come by to see me sometime.
I am linking up to follow right along with you.

Color is made for every season, and you are proof of that. Your gorgeous jacket, and your smile, brightened my day.
Oh yes, that image of Nicole was from my blog. You chose a great outfit to recreate. The kimono is beautiful and you look radiant.
I don't know how Nicole is able to pull it off.
Fabulous Pam, fabulous!
What an awesome idea, Pam! I must go rummage through my closet for some spectacular coat now!
