Apricot Lane Success: Mother/Daughter Owned Boutiques for Mother/Daughter Shopping!!

Happy Thursday, everyone!  A little over a year ago, I introduced you to APRICOT LANE.  I was impressed with the concept of a forward thinking- over 50 mother going into fashion retail with her beautiful daughters.  Meet Lauren (R) and Allison (L)daughters of Cathy, store business manager and buyer.

Wednesday evening they hosted a San Antonio blogger event and I was excited to hear them speak of the success they have with fashion retailing alongside of their mother.  Allison smiled and described Cathy’s style as trendy and relaxed!  She explained how all three go on buying trips to California every six weeks and they return with merchandise which reflects the taste and styles of all three.  

You can see this throughout the store…in fact, the whole time I was there, I wished my daughter had been with me.  I will be taking her back…but I did pick up a little surprise…for me and her!!

Apricot Lane is a franchise with about 80 locations…but I do not know how many have mother/daughter teams.
Lauren says currently they cannot keep leggings, scarves, or chunky sweaters out of the hands of daughters…or moms!
