Refreshment and Peace

Good morning, everyone.  It’s 48 degrees in San Antonio this morning…that is awesome!  I am sitting her with my candles glowing,  sipping Starbuck’s French Roast, in refreshing, dry air…glorious autumn.

After three months, my daughter’s family moved into their house and I took mine back.  I have had no place to unwind and be alone during this time. For all of us the last ten days were really difficult as we practiced patience day to day in the situation.  But, this weekend was energizing as I cleaned and straightened and prepared a sanctuary yet again.

I have several collaborations going on today and tomorrow with two themes… visible fashion and our favorite family recipes.  I hope you will join me for them all.

Enjoy each moment of this day…life is short!

  1. I'm so glad you have your space back. Having one's home routines up-ended can be SO stressful! Enjoy that peace and the cooler fall weather!

  2. Good afternoon, Pam!
I have been enjoying your blog for sometime now. Just had to let you know I am over here in Houston and wish we could keep some of that pretty weather. Alas, the wind has turned around to the South and "heat index" is on the rise yet again.
Thank you for sharing your life with us. You are such a lovely inspiration. I, also, am in the midst of change. It's pretty daunting and exhilarating at the same time. WHEW!!

  3. I'm sure it was nice to have your daughter around, and nice to see them move into their own place! They probably felt the same way themselves.
