Isn’t It Too Late to Dress For the Job You Want??
I am like so many other boomers who can speak these words…LIFE HAPPENS! After my husband’s three year layoff…college for three…two weddings…it does not appear that I will see retirement…ever!
So why not pursue one of the dream jobs on my list? Never too late. I do not dress as many educators…who are let’s say a bit “relaxed.”
If you want to know what I think about boomers…dream jobs…and dressing for the job you want…then hop over to Generation Fabulous by clicking HERE. Is anyone else pursuing their dream job after 50?
Have a wonderful Tuesday!!
You look very professional and put-together in both of these outfits, Pam. Nicely done!
I too am going for a new position in my company. It will have new challenges and better pay. I dont feel you are ever too old for doing something new in your life. As I tell my kids, I'm only going to be 57,not dead yet….lol
Life surely happens Pam. I am handling all the schooling and everything for my girls alone. It is A LOT! I am considering pursuing another dream job on top of my current one to keep up. 🙂 xo
Excellent article, Pam! I enjoyed reading it and you are so right. All these excuses don't count…
I am in my current job for 10 years now and I am very happy with it. My organisation hired a couple of ladies and gentlemen of my age recently – a good decision!

You look sooooooooooo smart, Pam.
About the open bag I thought it was funny how people don´t know what to do next, LOL.

Pam, you look the the fabulous CEO. I love your philosophy of dealing with Life as it happens, and taking the time to look great.
I hope I never stop pursuing my dream job! LOVE the leopard!
Love you in leopard. I think NYC has a terrible ageism problem in a certain field. I will have to email you about this! I'm heading over to read your article now, it sounds interesting and maybe it will give me some ideas. XO, Jill
Love your outfits!!
I dress more "formal" than most here–i can wear jans but don't-opting for skirts more.
You become more elegant by the day! I am now creating my dream job, which is really not a job because I'm doing what I love to do. Maybe it's a new career or my personal calling.
I always say dress for the job you want, not the job you have.
I have no idea what job I actually DO want, but I know I want to dress fabulously for whatever it might be!
You are looking so elegant and chic here
Love the outfit
Brett
Wow, 2 gorgeous outfits. Absolutely love that gold belted animal print top.
I'm finally writing on a regular basis, something I put off for years. I have 2 new Kindle books published recently that I am so happy about and proud of.
Congrats on following dreams and looking good getting there too! LOVE your blog.
