What Do You Do When You Like An Idea??

When I was out shopping last weekend, I saw this outfit in a store window and really liked the look. I have a file in my computer where I store pictures of looks I like just for inspiration and to help when I am pulling items from my closet!

I also have a file where I stick pages I rip from magazines of styles I like…then when my mind draws a blank I have something to flip through which is targeted just for me!!

Does anyone else have a special way to keep ideas for your own styling??  Please share if you do!

And have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!!

  1. Oh I have an entire file (quite stuffed) with inspirational ideas. If it's a look I'm especially in love with I prop the picture up on my dresser so I can see it regularly. I also like to hang one look from a special place in the closet and play with it for a couple of days, adding or subtracting accessories, holding nail polish colors up to it, to see what works and what doesn't.

Wasn't that a great cover photo of SJP? She looks so happy in it. XO, Jill

  2. My one and only inspiration comes from the wonderful creative brain of Janice Riggs. I dress only in tailored, classic pieces, no frou-frou, bling or ruffles for me ever. I cannot begin to tell you how often I see something that I would have never dreamed up. The woman is genius.

  3. Pinterest in assisting me in keeping track of all my ideas. Like you, I do have cuttings and clippings categorized in folders. It seems overwhelming sometimes, I think I need to take pictures of everything and create folders on my computer.
By the way the link to the free pair of jeans is not working.
