Treat Yourself….I Did With A Little Leopard!!
Wow, there have been a couple of heavy emotional posts for me over the last week! So, I am ready to have some fun! What better way to celebrate fun than with LEOPARD.
I write this advice often: Give yourself permission to receive a treat occasionally for something special…and I am not talking about chocolate. I work pretty hard…from rise at 4:30AM to bedtime around 9:30! And…it really helps me to keep on keeping on if I give myself an occasional treat. Back when my children were at home, I would spend every financial gift on them or on household needs. But now, I think an occasional Perk for Pam is perfectly fine.
When I was gifted with money recently, I decided to locate a pair of shoes tormenting my sleep for a long time….the really good news is that THE SHOES were ON SALE! I was impressed with young accessories designer, Elaine Turner, the minute I met her at the OPENING OF A HER NEW BOUTIQUE in Alamo Heights last fall. Her shoes and purses are gorgeous! So, when I could purchase these $250 flats last week for $100….I went for it. I have to say I am in love!! When tempted to think about all of the other things I could do with that $100, I just put it out of my mind.
It does pay to sign up for emails from the retailers you love. Occasionally, you receive a sale notice not given to the general public. I see this happen with more than one. It can pay off big time. The offer I used from ELAINE TURNER also included free shipping on that day.
In honor of LEOPARD LOVE, I am also modeling my recent AMAZON purchase of this lightweight leopard infinity SCARF. I won a $25 gift card and instead of using it on my standard Amazon purchases of books and CDs, I made myself go out of my box. For the $25, I bought two beautiful scarves. I love this leopard up against my pink TUNIC from Soft Surroundings!
Have you bought yourself a special treat lately…tell us what it is!! And if not, maybe it is time you do!!
Love those leopard shoes, Pam! I think they're like a neutral. Glad you treated yourself xoxoxo
LOVE the leopard scarf and shoes. That Soft Surroundings is gorgeous. I treated myself to a pair of Chico pants and animal print top from my favorite consignment store just yesterday.
Pam, those are some fabulous leopard print pieces! Love them both!
Your shoes are a wonderful investment in well-being! Plus, they are gorgeous on you. I believe in Special Treats too.
Love them … and 'Perk for Pam'… yes, yes… that is perfect… 🙂 xv

You look great!
Love the shoes, scarf, and top. Just like the whole outfit. I'm so sorry to hear that your friend is moving. I know how hard that can be. Take care of yourself. Blessings Paula
Oh, I LOVE leopard prints! And it looks like it's going to be very popular this year! I love the detail in your shoes! I actually also have a pair of flats and a scarf in the black and tan colors, too! A little special treat now and then is great…it can be just the pick-me-up you might need to spruce up your wardrobe!

Very very nice, you look wonderful!
Thank you for the intro to Elaine Turner! Popped over and got shoes on sale plus 20%!
Can't wait to get the leopard shoes I have been searching for for a year! All that and memory foam for comfort.
Thank you!
REALLY great purchase. I am a firm believer that Leopard is in fact a neutral and should be treated as such.
