Welcoming A New Boutique With Style!

San Antonio ladies brought out their best styles for the opening of Elaine Turner’s boutique in the trendy Alamo Heights area last Thursday evening.  I thought you might enjoy seeing what we wear to events like this from ladies of all ages.

Since Turner is an accessories designer, there were some fabulous accessories on display. Turner believes her success in a struggling economy is from women who take simpler, less expensive garments and make them fabulous with accessories.

Several ladies gave me inspiration ideas from their style and for the most part they were wearing simple, chic garments.  As everywhere, SA ladies are into the animal print trend and love a fun evening discussing fashion with a designer!  You can see more in this little slide show I put together.

HAPPY OFFICIAL FIRST DAY OF FALL…ENJOY YOUR SATURDAY!!

  1. So many gorgeous accessories in this boutique! And Elaine and her Mom are so chic and so elegant. It's so nice to see a Mom and her daughter being inspirational to each other.
Enjoy this store, dear Pam. I am glad I don't live there. I would splurge it for sure (I saw some bags and some necklaces which are to die for…)
    Have a lovely weekend!

  2. San Antonio just sounds like so much fun – especially with you there! I wish there were more cute boutiques near me. I have to go into the city. Pretty suburban where I live. xoxo

  3. HERE THERE, BEAUTIFUL PAM!

Oh what fun. There is nothing like a well-dressed woman who is also clothed in kindness and JOY! We were out yesterday for my husband's birthday and we went into the most chic shops; we were greeted by the most fabulous OVER 60 women. Dressed to the nines, young, excited, it made his birthday an inspirational day.

I knew a dear shop owner who at 89 was still running her shop. She always dressed in gorgeous outfits with jewels. Just this summer, her shop is no longer there….I wonder what happened to her. But she worked well into her platinum years and brought much inspiration.

Thank you for coming to visit today!!!!! Anita
