On the 12 Days of Vacation…My Girlfriend Said to Me…

Let’s go to lunch!  Of course, I said YES!
“Age appears to be best in four things; old wood best to burn, old
wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read.”  -Francis Bacon

From reading this blog, my old high
school friend, Kay, knew that I was available for lunch this week!  Catching up with a high school friend is a
great way to refresh and get mentally healthy!
We had not sat down together in years. We had a wonderful time.  Old friends are like a comfortable pair of
shoes…they just fit and feel right!  I
was a little nervous about taking my new eating plan out to lunch on the third
day, but all went well!!
While I was out, I stopped by my
favorite consignment boutique, Garment Exchange.  She has some fabulous items…if you are in San
Antonio and a foot size, 7 1/2….you need to get over there.  Incredible shoes!  Also, she needs more for her men’s department!
You can make money!  Tell Marilyn I sent
you by or call her at 820-3000.

Have a wonderful summer weekend!  Maybe it’s time to meet up with an old friend!
