Casual Wear: Having Some Fun!

As the end of school nears and the
temperatures go up (96 yesterday!), our teachers are allowed to be more
casual.   Out come the flip flops (don’t
tell Tim Gunn…he says only at the swimming pool!)  and the shorter pants!
This week was fun…you can tell I
love my red denim, since I wear it often!
The floral jacket is really old from a thrift shop, but I hang on to it
for fun times.  The green butterfly
cardigan is a Calvin Klein from Marshall’s ….last summer.   It works in the air conditioning, but is
warm for outdoors.
Of course, I was anxious to wear
the necklace I bought for myself at Versona
Love it!   All my weekends are
busy with school activities until June…so I have to go!  But, tell me, what fun things are you up to
for May??  Happy Saturday everyone!

  1. I love that floral jacket, and the combo with the new necklace. It actually complements the embellished neckline of your tee rather than fighting with it..well done! 96 already?!?!? Yikes. I don't know how you all do it. I also hate going back and forth from that kind of heat and a/c. I always carry a sweater with me in the summer, because I freeze in a/c.

  2. You are simply lovely dearest Pam. I am very late in posting this weekend, due to loosing PICNIK, my number one collage maker! I am trying to figure out other options to make collages and it is going to take me some time to learn them! I will let you know when my Paris party will start….HAVE FUN! Anita

  3. Pam, your Versona necklace is stunning. I love tassels and this piece provides so much interest against your neutral background. You look very chic in the midst of a hot day.

  4. Beautiful outfits on you, both of them! I don't know how you handle all that heat down there. But then again, I don't know how I handle all this rain in Seattle!

  5. It's a cool necklace! I went with DH to pick up the grandson from school on Friday and just as you report ALL the teachers were in capris and mules or flip-flops. Even the principal was dressed this way…no AC in the school.

  6. That jacket is fabulous!!!! You should hang on to it as long as possible!

  7. LOVELY PICS:) I really like your blog and I want to follow, do you have twitter or FB??

  8. Florals, red legs and killer necklace = blogger outfit. So chic- you've been sartorially on fire as of late while keeping cool.
