Country Wedding Enchanted Evening

This past Saturday evening, Mr. B and I attended the most beautiful outdoor wedding by a Texas country river.  Though the temps reached into the 90s, there was a breeze and it cooled off quickly after sunset.  I was captivated with the creativity and the décor…the entire evening was stunning.

I think my only regret came with my own attire for I had no colorful spring dress in the closet.  But, I did take pieces and created a cool, evening, black knit.  It seemed to work though I saw some lovely garden party style dresses. If you want to see more of this fabulous wedding, come back on my new Something Different Friday…a day when you just might see more than fashion!  Until then, join the bloggers for VISIBLE MONDAY , Harpers Happenings, and MONDAY MINGLE!!

Mother of the Bride looked stunning in her coral dress

She was the only one who wore a hat…which I found very sad…but found her

  2. Mr. B is a handsome fella! And you are dressed PERFECTLY for an evening wedding. The wedding does indeed look like a beautiful and creative event.

  3. Good question about what to wear to a country outdoor wedding…I really have no idea as far as what is in my closet. I think you look lovely and the wedding looks very pretty. Refreshing change from tradition.

  4. Hey Pam! Thanks for these, especially the parents of the bride. Our son and fiance don't have a date set yet, but I've been loving the heavy lace dresses I've been seeing. To see a real MofB with one really helps. You're awesome to wear what you had and GO! That's what really counts…love!

  8. What a charming wedding! Is it really already in the 90's where you live? Yikes!

Thank you for the mention regarding our colorblocking post – Jill and I are very excited!

You look beautiful as always…and I think the mother of bride looks gorgeous in her coral dress.

    Have a great Monday! xo

  9. Weddings are the one place that you can be sure to see many elegant outfits -it's such a nice change from the very casual (sometimes TOO casual) clothes we see everywhere. I look forward to seeing more photos of the wedding decor. Those windows are great!

  10. What a gorgeous setting. The photos are amazing. And I'm so glad you took the portrait of the elegant hat lady. She's got style for sure. Thank you so much for sharing on Monday Mingle.

  11. I've never been to a country Texas wedding. I'm from New Jersey/Pennsylvania and all the weddings in my family are formal and Catholic. If I were invited to a country wedding, I'd probably be underdressed. I had no idea how beautiful Texas weddings were.
