Shoes Do The Talking at TXSC Conference!
I don’t know who invented high heels, but all women owe him a lot.
-Marilyn Monroe
In a room full of fashionistas, sometimes it’s the shoes speaking the loudest! I was mesmerized at the Texas Style Council’s Social Media Conference just how loud the voices resounded! Hope you enjoy….
And whenever I’m in a situation where I’m wearing the same as 600 other people and doing the same thing as 600 other people, looking back, I always found ways to make myself different, whether it be having a red lining inside of my jacket, having red shoes, it hasn’t changed.
-Jeremy Irons
You put high heels on and you change.
Age shouldn’t affect you. It’s just like the size of your shoes – they don’t determine how you live your life! You’re either marvellous or you’re boring, regardless of your age.
-Steven Morrissey

Love the "sayings" from today's blog. Also love yesterday's….what Katie has learned.
I don't do heels, especially since I broke my ankle, but I love the look. I can't wear shoes without a arch support, or shoes that put my foot and posture in an unnatural form. That said, what do my shoes say about me? I have small feet, a few fractures, but living my dreams.
I adore that Steven Morrissey quote, Pam! And I love looking at all the awesome shoes – although some of them would have me flat on the ground in minutes : >
my shoes aren't saying a thing today……just got out of bed and have only socks on (my preferred style is barefoot). Yesterday they said ugly (I hated what I wore). I am tall and very self conscious about my height, it doesn't help that I have short friends. I seldom wear any heels but LOVE all the shoes you've shown here. I have some cute flats tho! 🙂
Love shoes and clothes ~ great photos ~ I wear a size 5 1/2 shoe so size is hard to find in fashionable shoes ~namaste, Carol ^_^
I'm so glad you did a post on shoes during TxSC! I know half thoes girls feet were dying but at least they looked stunning!
I covet all the wedges! And love that last quote.
So much fabulous foot candy!
I'm wearing Chelsea boots and I hope they're saying, 'Comfortable and chic!' Are any of those your shoes Pam?
I wish I could wear these shoes!!! My shoes were the Sam Edelman Leopard Ballet Flats from my post this past Monday…more my speed, but I still think they say Fun and this women is on the move!!
Shoes are timeless! Thanks for sharing Pam! Loved seeing all the outfits at the conference too. Will share our shoe video when it's done from Fashion Week. Have to say these girls had some great looks.

loved seeing all the different types and colors of shoes
as an impaired shoe person, i really appreciate seeing the photos

I just read an article about the problems shoes can cause. While cool looking, I confess I cannot wear anything with any kind of a heel over an inch.
my shoes used to be sky high , in every color, with buttons, with bows, with patterns and every color of the rainbow, every style. Now my shoes are saying comfort, don't fall over and well some are cute, giggle….sigh… xo
Great shoes! And a great idea for a post.
I like to look at super high heels but they are not for me. I max out at 3 inches. No more than that.
This is a fun idea for a post. When I began reading, I thought okay, I'll know who some of these bloggers are just by their shoes, but I was totally stumped.
I actually enjoyed reading through this posting. Many thanks.
