Sweaters and an Attitude of Gratitude

Sweater: Lane Bryant
Chaps Leopard Blouse: Kohls
Lee Jeans: Kohls

Good day? Bad day? Do you believe that how you begin determines the results? I have noticed that if I allow myself to start the day in a bad mood…then the entire day most often does not go well. Katherine of Katherine’s Corner really convicted me the other day when she talked about beginning with an attitude of gratitude. I read her post right after I arrived at school only to find someone in my parking space…and I was not a happy camper. I was about to allow this rude individual to rob me of my joy for the entire day! Thanks Katie for bringing me back.

Earrings: AVON!

I try every day to be thankful for the little things from the very beginning when I rise out of bed. Today, I was thankful for

Sweater Weather

Pumpkin Spice Coffee Cream

Coffee!!

Music ready to play when I get in the car

Sunroofs…(to see stars at the time I drive to work)

Sunrise  (when I arrive)

Time to work on the blog before students arrive

🙂   Yes!

Perspective can influence our day… so,it never hurts to start with thankfulness. Katie also hosts a Thursday Blog Hop…so hop on over and check out the other bloggers!

  1. As usual, Pam, you have hit it on the head: we can decide how we are going to approach the day. I love your gratitude list, and mine would include: cute black cat jumping on my head in the morning, hot English Breakfast tea to wake me up, and a job I love to go to.

  2. I love the pattern on your sweater and your earrings!
I am thankful for the freedom I now have. I treasure each day of it. I also begin my days with coffee, Millstone Chocolate Velvet. The smell of it brewing is divine.

  3. Hi Pam! My Mom is a very big part of my blog and she not only takes all of my photos but she also reads every post and comes to visit all of my reader's blogs. So she'll definitely make her way over here! You'll get to meet her soon 🙂

  4. Pam, GREAT post! If I start the day out funky, I try to get control of my thoughts right away. Most of the time, it's our thoughts that make circumstances good or bad. Love your new layout! ~Serene

  5. I like to remember that no matter what is happening during the day that I have the power to start over. No matter when the bad mood starts. This was a great reminder.

    Great sweater!

    xo,

It is a good plan, I will have to try it. Sadly I have a LOT of bad issues going on in my life right now. However I will try this.
Thanks for the reminder to be grateful for some things in life.
