Boutique Shopping and the ABCs

Today, I want to continue with the ABCs of Christmas Shopping….Avoid Big Crowds, that is, by supporting your local small businesses. This fun boutique is called a giftique…The Bless Your Heart Giftique at Sunset Ridge in San Antonio.  I really enjoyed visiting with the manager, Katy, about their jewelry, shoes, clothes, and fun atmosphere. Please look for those small businesses you can support this holiday season. I find many of them to be more reasonable with prices than we imagine…I think there is a misconception that all small businesses are expensive. Besides, why look like everyone else…be unique and shop boutique!

Katy!

Also, today and tomorrow, I am bringing out the bling in honor of the holidays.  I will wear the quiet side of bling both days, beginning with this winter white sweater covered in sequins!

Sweater and Blouse: Stein Mart
Pencil Skirt: Dillards
Tights: Kohls

 Bamboo Christmas Flats: Ross

Red Belt: Stein Mart
Bracelet: Premiere Jewelry

I hope everyone has a winter-wonderland-Wednesday!!

  1. Pam, I'm with you on the ABCs! I really don't care for the crowds…but I'm totally loving this boutique! I would wear the HECK out of that butterfly fringe top! By the way, you look SO great in Black and white! Hugs girly! ~Serene

  2. This looks like a fun place to explore! I love the flats, and that necklace looks great on the manequin with the bright yellow shirt!

  3. What a great shop! I love all the unique items – especially the necklaces. Talk about a statement!

I am VERY excited to see your sequins (wink, wink).

I do make an effort to shop in local boutiques too, even if I have to pay a bit more. But I must confess: I did go to Macys today and buy four pairs of patterned stockings on sale and a black Calvin Klein raincoat that I could not pass up (long enough sleeves for my tall self = deal sealer).

    See you tomorrow! xo, Adrienn

  4. This looks like a great shop. I do like boutiques although some can make you feel like you are not good enough to shop there. Others are wonderful and you feel like they really care about you and not just a sale. Love your outfit. I do love sequins and beaded sweaters. I always have. I love the old 50's beaded sweaters.
